About Hex Standoffs & Spacers

Hex standoffs are threaded hexagonal posts that hold circuit boards, panels or machine parts a fixed distance apart. Male-female types can be stacked; female-female types take a screw at each end. Available in 304 stainless, brass and aluminium.

M4*12+6 reads as M4 thread, 12 mm body and 6 mm male thread; the size in brackets is the width across flats.
Decide male or female ends first, then the body length.
