About Bushing
Bushings line a bore so a shaft or pin slides against a replaceable wear part instead of the parent material.

- Bearing steel
- Hard and wear resistant, pairs with dowel pins and guide posts.
- Oil-impregnated bronze
- Self-lubricating where greasing is impractical.
- Brass / bronze
- Low friction, anti-seize, slow speed and high load.
How to choose
- Give both ID and OD — OD is usually a press fit, ID a running fit.
- Decide whether you need a flange to stop it pressing through.
