About this category

Slotted hollow spring pins (roll pins), made slightly oversize so their own spring force holds them against the hole wall — which means the hole tolerance can be far looser than for a solid dowel. Available in standard and heavy-duty wall thickness, the latter carrying much more shear. 1–40 mm diameter, 4–200 mm long.

How to choose

• No reaming needed — that is the main cost advantage over solid pins.
• Heavy and standard duty share the same outside diameter but not the same wall — state which you need.
• Location accuracy is lower than a ground dowel pin; do not substitute for precision location.
