Brass flare fittings for copper tube. The tube end is flared, then a flare nut clamps it against the cone of the fitting to make a metal-to-metal seal. Male connectors, elbows and tees are listed, together with flare unions (straight, elbow and tee) and loose flare nuts, for 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2" tube.

How to choose

• In the size, S is the flare end and M the male thread: 1/4"M*3/8"S is a 1/4" male thread with a 3/8" flare.
• A single size with S (3/8"S) is a union with the same flare on every end.
• If you would rather not flare the tube, use compression fittings.
