Press-in pins for sheet metal, pushed into a pre-drilled hole so they stay permanently in the panel - a way to create a locating post or pivot without welding or a separate screw. Sized as diameter x length (head diameter), 1-10 mm diameter and 3-30 mm long, in stainless. This section also carries CLPT and MSTP mould vent pins.

How to choose

• Drill the hole to the specified size - too large and it will not grip, too small and the panel distorts.
• Check the panel is thick enough before pressing into thin sheet or aluminium, which will dome.
• Removal is difficult once fitted, so confirm position and orientation first.
