About this category

304 stainless bearing lock washers (AWS series). The function is identical to the carbon steel version - inner tang in the shaft keyway, outer tab bent into the nut slot - chosen for corrosion resistance in food, pharmaceutical, chemical and damp environments. Numbering again matches the lock nuts, with the shaft diameter in brackets. Stainless is softer, so take care not to snap the tab when bending.
