About this category

Stainless latch pins with a flat tongue at one end, also known as tongued latch pins or type B tongue pins. The tongue makes the pin easy to position and to fit and remove repeatedly by hand without tools, with a split pin added where it must be secured. Originally covered by GB 3473-1983 for marine tongued latch pins in types A and B, now superseded by CB/T 291-1999. Mostly SUS304, 8-20 mm diameter and 30-150 mm long, used on vessels and dock fittings, in articulated linkages, and on automation equipment and jigs that are stripped down often.
