Shaft self-locking nuts, product code SPN, where the number is the shaft diameter - SPN-10 fits a 10 mm shaft. They retain a part on a plain shaft and hold themselves in place once fitted. Available in standard and light thickness, roughly half black-oxide carbon steel and half stainless, for shafts from 1.2 to 20 mm, with a dedicated quick installation tool also stocked.
